Awards & Recognition
We strive to always improve the Innovation, Research and Development within our team, our clients, our partners and our sponsorships. We recognise the achievements of others and are recognised for the ongoing work that is done to achieve future goals and ambitions. We focus locally and regionally on the amazing work that is carried out in different industries and the constant ignition and growth of great people and businesses that have developed around us.
Tipperary Chamber Business Awards
Since 1925 the organisation has been the catalyst for business development and business growth in the region. Over the decades thousands of businesses have worked with the Chamber to develop their companies and, in turn, the local economy. The annual awards recognise the achievements of local businesses in their specific sector.
Athena SWAN Awards
TUS Receives National Recognition for Commitment to Advancing Gender Equality. The showcase saw 19 universities and institutions from across the country come together virtually to celebrate the sector’s progress in advancing gender equality more broadly and not just barriers to progression that affect women. TUS, Ireland’s newest technological university, was established on October 1, 2021, and formed from the merger of Athlone Institute of Technology (AIT) and Limerick Institute of Technology (LIT).
Sustainable Energy Awards
The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) has announced TUS’s Development & Public Engagement Manager, Seamus Hoyne, as the winner of the Outstanding Contribution to Sustainable Energy award at the 2020 SEAI Energy Awards.
